As a colonial state, Nigeria could not criticize South Africa’s white regime. As the country’s independence was approaching, efforts began to be directed toward sensitizing Nigerians on the evil of apartheid and the need for the country to take appropriate actions against the white minority rule in South Africa. 31 The Bill was unanimously passed by the House of Representatives.
